Free family activities were held at the 2025 Marche aux flambeaux on the evening of Friday, February 28, in Lachute. The outdoor winter event drew numerous locals to the grounds of Club de golf Lachute on avenue Béthany.

Attendees could walk and explore the golf course by firelight, listen to live music, and socialize with others throughout the evening.

Free coffee and hot chocolate were provided by the Ville de Lachute to keep attendees warm along the three-kilometre firelit trails.

Regional vendors provided paid catering and beverages, including La boulangerie du P’tit chef, Brasserie Sir John Brewing Co., Cabane à Sucre du Coteau, and the O’Bedon d’Or food truck.

Live music included the talents of Alain Bertrand, Hector Solis, and Ely Breton, who enthusiastically performed for families throughout the evening despite the frigid temperature.
